Component Supply offers CS Mesh Lab Kits to provide a selection of mesh for research and development. Each kit includes two 8″x10″ sheets of mesh in size ranges listed in the chart below. There are six nylon and three polyester mesh kit options. The sizes included correspond to our complete nylon and polyester mesh offering, which are based on the mesh opening, open area, mesh count (threads per inch), and thread diameter. Kits offer a range of sizes, enabling our customers to test different configurations before committing to larger volumes for their projects.
Lab kits were intended for testing purposes, but for customers who know their exact needs, these products are available in either production or small quantities and often times benefit from CS Custom Fab services. Contact us if you are interested in custom discs or shapes of a particular mesh size.
ISO 13485 certified. Permeable cloth products (except black coated) currently supplied by Component Supply are manufactured from 100% Dacron polyester and/or 100% nylon and have not been treated with chemicals that would be harmful to humans by food contact. Permeable cloth products undergo purely mechanical operations with material compounds that meet Code of Federal Regulations 21CFR177.1590 (a) to stiffen the material. Lubricants used on the manufacturing machinery meet FDA REG 21CFR178.3570, with the exception of the discs. Statements of compliance, such as those listed below, may be requested at the time of order and are distributed by lot number.
