Luer Line Sets With Polycarbonate Fittings

Component Supply offers non-sterile Luer assemblies designed for use in the lab and for testing purposes. The polycarbonate Luer fitting comes with either a general purpose PVC tubing or certain Tygon® tubing. Polycarbonate is considered to be the toughest of all plastics with its heat and impact resistance. It is linear, low-crystalline and transparent, and the combination of its strength and elasticity prevents deformation, making it ideal for applications requiring durability. Polycarbonate remains largely unaffected by greases, oils and acids. Its electrical resistivity as well as the other characteristics can be upheld in a temperature range of -275°F to 250°F. These Luer assemblies are made in a variety of configurations and are prepackaged in small quantities. These standard items can be customized for customer-specific requirements.

These polycarbonate Luer assemblies have a variety of uses in laboratory settings and other applications, such as animal sciences, where fluid transfer and quick change out are necessary. They may also be used in conjunction with IV sets in laboratory research.
