Material Properties
Component Supply offers high-quality, non-sterile blunt needles made for dispensing fluids. This product is made with a polypropylene Luer hub and stainless steel hypodermic tubing. Polypropylene is a tough, flexible thermoplastic polymer. Hypodermic tubing is stainless steel small diameter tubing, which is full hard, welded and drawn. Stainless steel is a family of iron-chromium alloys with effective corrosion resistance particularly known for their non-rusting attributes. Despite the use of hypodermic tubing, these needles have a blunt tip and are not typically used in actual hypodermic applications. The polypropylene Luer hubs are color coded allowing for the easy identification of needle gauge size. Blunt dispensing tip needles are available in packs of 25, 50, or 100. Volume pricing and/or bulk packaging is available upon request.
