Stainless steel extra-thin wall hypodermic tubing is a corrosion resistant material welded and drawn to tight tolerances. Component Supply stocks miniature hypotubes in standard 30" and 60" lengths with no minimum order. Quantity breaks are available for the 60" lengths. Material certificates are available upon request for $10.

As a resource for R&D, Component Supply provides extra thin wall hypotubes as a readily available, durable and affordable option for prototyping in a variety of applications including oil and gas, chemical processing, chromatography, electronics and aerospace, and medical. Hypotubes are frequently used in air, water, oil, natural gas, chemical circuits, and other applications where corrosion-resistance is a requirement. In various medical applications, hypodermic tubing is used in the manufacture of a variety of cannula types including sharps, blunt, non-coring, and deflective.
Custom Fabrication & Contract Manufacturing ▼
The custom fabrication division of Component Supply, CS Custom Fab, offers many secondary operations for hypodermic tubing. Capabilities include:
- Cutting: precision, burr-free (standard +/- 0.005" tolerance)
- Bending: to customer-specified bend radius
- Beveling: to customer-specified angle
- Welding: laser welding for assemblies
- Notching: according to customer drawing
- Flattening: according to customer drawing
- Custom Needles: hypotubes and either stainless steel or polypropylene hubs
Our commitment to research and development drives us to maintain low minimums and fast lead times for fabricated parts. However, we also maintain the volumes and documentation necessary to move projects to production. Standard shop minimums generally begin at $150 for standard cuts of hypodermic tubing, but please contact our office for a quote specific to your project's use of hypotubes. Material certificates are available upon request for $10 per part number.
